FACTS
  • AIT was founded in August 1994, as a result of the vision, and untiring efforts of Gen B.C Joshi PVSM, AVSM, ADC.

  • The Institute was inaugurated by Gen S.Roy Chaudhary PVSM, ADC on 24th Feb, 1995.

  • The first batch of BE students graduated in 1998 with flying colours.

  • Migration is permitted into the Second year of B.E. courses, subject to the availability of seats against sanctioned intake capacity.

    Diploma holders are not considered for migration into AIT.

    Criteria for migration into Second Year

    Admissions into Second Year of Engg through migrations are subject to the following stipulations:-

    (a)Admissions will be strictly on the basis of inter se merit marks obtained in the first year exam.

    (b)The applicants must not be ATKT in any subject.

    (c)The first year B.E.syllabi in respect of students migrating from outside Pune University must match with that of Pune University.

    (d)The allotment of branch of study of Second Year of Engg will depend upon the Vacancy state for the different branches. The allotment of branches to migrants will be done after readjustments of branches for students who have completed the first year from AIT.

Trivia
  • A number of voluntary Clubs are functional in AIT campus. The Clubs are run by the students and provide them with opportunities to pursue their interests in various fields.
